This past Saturday Ryan and six other volunteers had the opportunity to paint the Refuge building. The Refuge is an outreach ministry of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale. It is a program that feeds and meets needs of the homeless and under-resourced communities seven days a week.  The Refuge also houses a time of worship and Bible study every Sunday morning.

Ryan and Artistic Finishes, Inc. employees had the building pressure cleaned the day before so the volunteer team could start early Saturday morning. The volunteers began to patch and prime the exterior walls then followed that up with two coats of an off-white paint color. They also installed a gutter to help reroute the water that comes off the roof.
